CHRISTCHURCH TOWN HALL
Nestled on the banks of the Avon River, this heritage-listed venue has inspired guests and performers alike for generations.
Beautifully restored and refurbished, the venue’s acoustics and integrated technology—including projectors, screens, and sound systems—only enhance its iconic architectural features and riverside views.


PARAKIORE METRO SPORTS
Construction is set to be completed in 2025. The Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre will be the largest aquatic and indoor recreation and leisure venue in New Zealand, accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
The Parakiore Recreation and Sports Centre will cater to the day-to-day needs of the leisure, sporting, recreational, educational, and high-performance sporting communities in Canterbury.
TURANGA CENTRAL LIBRARY
In the heart of the central city is Tūranga Library. Located near Cathedral Square, the building itself is an architectural work of art and home to a wonderland of activities and spaces for all to enjoy.
At nearly 10,000 square metres, Tūranga, the most modern public library in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest in the South Island, has another claim to fame: it’s the home of New Zealand’s largest digital touch-wall the Discovery Wall!

ONE NEW ZEALAND STADIUM
With 30,000 seats (25,000 permanent and 5,000 temporary), 36,000 capacity for large concerts all under the cover of a roof, One New Zealand Stadium is the premier and most accessible, inclusive, sustainable and flexible venue in Aotearoa.
Acoustics rivals the best arenas globally, with every seat in the house delivering a wonderful view, enhanced technology.


COURT THEATRE
The Court Theatre is New Zealand’s largest theatre company. It is a diverse and dynamic company of permanent staff plus hundreds of artists and artisans who produce 15-20 productions annually.
More than 100,000 ticket buyers enter The Court Theatre each year to enjoy various theatrical works, most created and produced on-site.
THE PIANO
The Piano is a space devoted to music and the arts.
The design of the building is inspired by the curves of a grand piano, the copper building is home to the Concert Hall and Atrium, and the rest of the building houses the Civic Music and Arts facility and office spaces. The building is built to the latest standards, with high-level control of acoustics and temperature to guarantee a perfect concert experience.

Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū is a catalyst for ambitious creativity in Ōtautahi Christchurch, collaborating with artists, and extending the Gallery’s influence beyond its walls.
The Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, commonly known as the Christchurch Art Gallery, is the public art gallery of the city of Christchurch, New Zealand. It has its own substantial art collection and also presents a programme of New Zealand and international exhibitions.
THE ARTS CENTRE
Te Matatiki Toi Ora
The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora is a unique collection of Gothic Revival buildings that was originally part of the University of Canterbury.
After being damaged in the 2011 earthquakes, the complex underwent a major restoration, reopening as a vibrant cultural center featuring artisan shops, galleries, studios, and cafes.
